2% for the environment

 In order to comply with EU legislation, a provision called “2%” was included in the Tax Code. Under this provision, individual taxpayers can direct 2% of their income tax each year to a nonprofit entity. The procedure is stated in art. 57 and 84 of Law no. 571/2003 on the Fiscal Code and is detailed in the Order of the Minister of Public Finance no. 185 / 15.02.2007.

For the first time, the citizen HAS THE POSSIBILITY OF GOVERNING THE STATE WITH HIS OWN MONEY, or at least 2% of it. The citizen may decide how a portion of his tax is to be spent.

YOU DO NOT PAY MORE, the state being bound to give 2% to whom you want, taking from the money the state already receives by tax.
